Day 1

Airport Bishkek
Meet at the airport, Hotel Accommodation, Holidays, sightseeing tour of Bishkek, short tour to the Ala-Archa National Park.

 

Day 2

Transfer to Karakol
Travel to Karakol town in the Issyk-Kul region. Follow an ancient path via the Burana Tower built in the 11th century AD, visit a memorial dedicated to the greatest tragedy of the Kyrgyz people, the genocide of 1916, cross the Boomskoe Valley, the entrance to Lake Issyk-Kul .
Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 3

Karakol
After breakfast, you will take the road to the capital of the Issyk-Kul region town of Karakol. This is a wonderful city founded by Russian settlers in 1869 and was one of the key fortresses of the Russian empire. City Tour to such places as ancient the Orthodox Church, the Dungan Mosque, and the Przewalski Museum.
Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 4

Karakol gorge.
From Dzheti-Oguz the tour will take you  to the Karakol Gorge. Although the route includes a few climbs, the trek will not be a long one. From May to October, the Karakol Valley is covered in flowers, - primrose, alpine aster, edelweiss, tulips, anemone white, rose, and buckthorn - which makes the slopes appear like animals. Among the most important and interesting animals in the valley are: mountain goats, roe deers, lynxes, wild boars, snow leopards, wolves and bears. At high-altitudes eagles, golden eagles and griffon vultures nest. You can see all this in the Karakol Valley.
Overnight in a nomadic tent.

 

Day 5

Karakol Valley - Valley Kel-Tor
On this day, we will make a short climb above the valley to the Djigit Peak. After reaching the valley we will spent rest of the day preparing for a relatively difficult transition to Lake Kel-Ala, high in the mountains. Overnight in a nomadic yurt.

 

Day 6

Lake Ala-Kel
After breakfast you will climb to the high-mountain lake of Ala-Kel located at an altitude of 3500 metres. After lunch, you will descend to the spa of Altyn-Arashan, which are known throughout Kyrgyzstan. Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 7

Altyn-Arashan - Aksu
From the resort you will go down to the bottom of the valley. By the end of the path you will reach the resort of Aksu which is also known for its mineral springs.
Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 8

On this day you will return to Bishkek along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul. Along the way you will get a chance to see the northern coast, and visit the resort town of Cholpon-Ata. On arrival in Bishkek you will have enough time to rest and prepare for your departure home.
